GMA still in a blue funk over ‘false’ news of Angelo’s release
While I feel utmost sympathy towards the family of Angelo dela Cruz, I share the sentiment Max Soliven has written in this column. I have no prblem regarding the news blackout since it's a matter of National Security. It is not easy to decide to pull out our troops be it a measly contingent of 51. This shows a vulnerability that if they want to force the Philippine government to do something, all they have to do is hold a citizen hostage and threaten to kill him or her. I appreciate all the efforts the government is doing but I would appreciate it more if they can address the need for jobs in our country.
